Arno Shawl

In a nod to an older pattern, the Arno Shawl deploys a round cable and diamond lattice patterns in an easy-to-wear piece in Ventura 24 yarn.

The Arno Shawl pattern won’t be available until late fall 2025, but here are photos to enjoy until then, along with some details.

Yarn in the Arno Shawl Sample

Ventura 24 yarn from Present Tense yarns available from Coachella Valley Yarn, 80% Merino / 20% Alpaca Ā 3.5 oz / 190 yds. Dark. 2 skeins used for a total of 7 oz, 380 yds.

Present Tense Merino Wool and Suri and Huacaya Alpaca Blend of limited production. Grown and milled in California. 3-ply naturally colored Worsted weight.

I used all but a couple of feet of 2 skeins in my sample.
