ASOG Refreshes because it is impossible to do a thing perfectly the first time! I learned so much during when I previously taught A System of Grading — about presentation, expectations (of myself and students), and outcomes. This is why I love teaching and also why I needed a break to sort through it all before offering this new, improved version.
A System of Grading (ASOG) offers you, as a designer, tech editor, or other knitwear professional, a 14-week series of classes designed to build your skills, polish your technique, and give you the tools to add grading into your skill set. This is an ambitious course, and the extent of your learning will likely depend on time spent working through the weekly homework.
There will be a 4-week hiatus after week 5. This will be an excellent time to spend extra time on A System of Grading (and it covers Easter/Passover! and a short break

Guided Learning
Think of ASOG 2020 as a college semester. What seems unattainable at the beginning becomes understandable by the end. Students all learn differently, and at different speeds. Everyone will arrive at the end in their own way. My goal as an instructor is to help each student achieve their best and to leave my courses with the tools they need to move ahead.
Do you want a Certificate of Completion, then you will submit your compiled work to me for review. You can hang it on your wall!
