I am knitting my Blue Canoe in Kiwi in a teal color. Seems perfect. I chose the name Blue Canoe after seeing a restaurant with that name. Actually, there is more than one, located in: Tupelo, MS, Martha’s Vineyard, Titusville, PA, Richmond, BC, Canada, Melba, ID, Oromocto, NB, Canada, and Greenport, NY all come up on the first Google search page. It is such a great name!
But on to knitting. I got started on my size M yesterday. I have a little more time for knitting while I’m enjoying a few days off in San Diego, so I worked on it while listening to my Audible book yesterday afternoon, and also this morning. I am currently on Row 15 of the waist shaping, then I have to work the reduced number of stitches until the bust shaping. This feels like a little bit of a letdown after the excitement of getting started. And this morning I calculated all the numbers of rows I need to work, which seems a bit more daunting than just knitting to 5″, etc.
