Clapham Trio Test Knit
A sleeve and a yoke combined and buttoned together to make a shrug! Modeled loosely on a Spencer Jacket, this is fun and easy to knit — perfect TV knitting or for a carry-around project. I borrowed the stitch pattern from a sweater I love that is done at a super-fine gauge. This combines dropped stitches and a very open and stylized rib.
You will need to do a swatch, and take some measurements (you can reuse your swatch if you need to). This is perfect for skeins that are nearly identical, a special skein, or yarn purchased for this purpose. Options are always a Yay! Don’t forget to find great buttons or pretty ribbon.
