Find a fabulous launch to your weekend with Jill Rambles on IG Live

Find a fabulous launch to your weekend with Jill Rambles on IG Live! Below (below the yarn photo) is my first Jill Rambles. I would love to have you join me for future episodes. 4:30 pm PDT/PST Fridays

Jill Rambles: This is the unwound sock blank I talk about getting from Sweet Georgia. Pale lilac to a golden center, stopping at cherry, burnt sienna.
This is the unwound sock blank I talk about getting from Sweet Georgia. Pale lilac to a golden center, stopping along the way in cherry and burnt sienna.

I’ll start Jill Rambles at the correct time this week (9/22) at 4:30 pm PDT. I plan to talk about creativity, living a creative life, and whatever I come up with in response to your (very welcome) questions. This is one of my favorite topics! I do not think it is easy to be a creative person in our culture, but I’ve done it.

Got something you want me to talk about or answer questions about? Shoot me an email and let me know.

What Jill is Wearing

That cosy I’m wearing is a version of Chattanooga Cosy. Size 5. Chattanooga comes in 20 sizes! Work it up in fingering yarn. That one used one skein, as did both of the others I’ve made. The original version is made in Silk Sock from Stella Luna Fibers. I made one from Notting Hill from Beautiful Knitters, and the one above is Sole Mate from Lorna’s Laces.

If you like listening to me, you might like to watch this video from Behind the Curtain, August edition. It is part of what gave me the idea for Jill Rambles. The first photo above is an Art Button in the form of a button link. I just button it into one of the spaces created by the dropped stitches. The button itself is a 1.25″ / 3.2 cm button, with smaller buttons, a few beads, and some wrapped yarn.
