There is nothing better than a box of yarn. Even when I know it is coming I am psyched as soon as I see it. I will often wait a day or two to open it just to keep the anticipation going. Yesterday I got this from The YarnSisters.
Linda wound it into balls, and I need to play with it. I have been very good lately working on finishing things up so I think I deserve it. I have one more project to finish before TNNA, but I am waiting for some feedback on it so I won’t start it until next week. I finished three projects for the photo shoot and only have one other unfinished project on my board. I have other unfinished projects, but they aren’t queued for my attention yet!
Remember the Roundhill sample that I knit two lefts? Finally finished both Right and Left Cuffs! It turned out I was within 8 rows of being finished with the Right, and so only had to finish that and put the ruffles on both of them. I finished a really fabulous capelet for my Berry Girly Collection which will be available mid-February–this is all for little girls. And there was the new vest for Red Barn Yarn. It came out really great-looking. This said by someone who doesn’t care for vests. It will publish for TNNA on Super Bowl Weekend. Finally, I finished the finishing on a new/old shawl and shell which will be published early in February. This one is so light and lovely it will be hard to resist. If you think you counted four projects finished, you are correct. I finished the Roundhills, but didn’t need them for the photo shoot–they went to VK Live in NYC.
I want a Remarkables for myself and I’ve been hoarding AIR from Zealana. Too bad I don’t have time to knit for myself. Maybe I’ll take it with me on my travels this spring. I’m a little like the cobbler’s children.
