I have been doing so much promoting of the Indie Designer Gift-A-Long and working social media to the edge of my capabilities, that I am, quite frankly, just talked out. I need to be harnessing energy so I can keep being productive. So, below are pretty pictures from designer bundles offered at 25% off on Ravelry until November 27, at 11:59 pm. These are what I noticed when looking for things that seemed different. I’m sure I missed things.
The next two designers I know. Simone helps me on the fashion show at TNNA and has taken a class I offer. I had dinner with Linda in Oslo. They are both lovely and talented designers.
All this looking at other designers’ work has been inspiring. I have chosen two projects that I’m going to tackle. I need a little relief from my own stuff right now.
I am going to take this project to our Thanksgiving weekend for an easy to pick up and work on project. Although I’ve not crocheted in more than 40 years, I don’t see this taking a ton of time. I’m going to guess that it will take about 8 hours to complete. I need to figure out where to get those 8 hours.
I’m also going to begin this project. I am going to cast on the 445 stitches tonight while waiting for Mitch to do his pilates session. I am going to try it on a size 6 needle, but I’m using lace weight. My goal is to get this finished by December 12 for a fancy dinner. I figure I need 15 to 18 hours to get this finished. I’ll work on it a bit this weekend, but I don’t have a lot of time, but I’ll use it for my car knitting on Thanksgiving and Sunday, which will give me a couple of hours of knitting. That means I need to find about an hour to work on it every day after Sunday.
I am harnessing my energy so I have more to put into my own work.
