Online Studio Chats Will Be Fun & Informative

Finding the perfect finish.

I have set up Online Studio Chats with me, beginning October 19, 2020. I’m calling these Studio Chats because I will be chatting with you from the Jill Wolcott Knits Design Studio and World Headquarters. Looking at my space is like a visual peek into my brain!

The First Studio Chat is an introduction and I will be giving you some food for thought–about knitting, yarn, being a knitter, choosing projects.  This will be approximately 1 hour and I will give some material to get the conversation rolling.  I will provide documents as needed.

Online Studio Chat

Perfect finish–unblocked!

You can come via video (I’ll have lipstick on!) or just come to chat (no video).  Sign up to get the log-in information.  Use any device or computer.  Come with answers to the questions on the first tab on each Studio Chat product page. We’ll see where we go from there.

The invitation to the GoToMeeting login is the pdf you will get the link to after purchasing. You can also order a Studio Chat package!

I am making everything new I add to my shop available to those outside of North America via PayHip. There will be a link on the Description tab that will take you from my website to theirs to make your purchase. Read more here.

Future Studio Chats are every other week and cost $5 to join.  They will run through December 14.  Each has a separate page because of the log-in information.

Online Studio Chats: Inspiration. Unblocked hat, post card & dried rose
The inspiration must have planted its seeds a while ago.

November 2:  Studio Chat 2.  Why we Knit?  Getting the most out of our knitting.
November 16:  Studio Chat 3.  Choosing Yarn and Colors.  Stepping outside your comfort zone.
November 30:  Studio Chat 4.  To Swatch or Not.  Making the most of your yarn and knitting time.
December 14:  Studio Chat 5.  Blocking.  Just in time for gifting!

You can also get a package for $16!

Another inspiration! Same yarn, same stitches. I’ve got five designs from 1 lb of linen yarn.

You might wonder why I am charging for these. It is a good question!

1) I will give you useful information and food-for-thought,

2) I could be doing something else, and

3) we value what we pay for.

You won’t be short-changed: I have been doing hand knitting design, teaching, pattern writing, etc. since 1994; I am also a knitter who knits almost daily. Let’s chat and have fun, but I am planning to share valuable information! If you’ve given me a tip (payment) I don’t have to hold back on what I share.

Plus I’m pretty fun. Mitch just came into my studio and saw the headline saying Fun and Informative, and said, “Is that you?” and when I said yes, he said: “Fair.”

Sometimes you have the perfect beads!

In January I will continue these online Studio Chats, and add in a Series for Designers and Professionals.
