Let me introduce the Jill Wolcott Knits Pattern Tailor, and Peete pronounced Pee-tee (like PT), who will be your personal guide and tailor for achieving your best fit in your knits.
Peete is your personal fit assistant. It is also me, Jill Wolcott, so I will refer to Peete with she/her pronouns. You should use whatever pronouns work for you.
I did this quick sketch (she awaits a face) to show you how I picture Peete. I also need to clean up the tape measure. The tape measure is central to good fit, and we find most knitters reluctant to deploy it for their own best fit, so we will have tutorials.

Think of Peete as your neighborhood tailor or seamstress who has years of garment construction experience (about 50+), and loads of experience creating things that fit the customer (40+). Best of all, all that experience is being poured into hand knits and you can pop by when you need help!

Measurements
Measurements are a necessary component of fit. They are also a pain in the butt. I will be conducting a Measurement clinic on Fridays at 1:30 pm PDT from August 23 through September 13. We’ll tackle a few measurements each week, and I’ll give remote assistance and cheerlead!
