Project Assessment

Project Assessment

Take a step to clearing out the unfinished, mostly forgotten, or nearly finished!

Use the Project Assessment worksheet to record the where you are and what you need to do. That gives you the information to then decide whether or not you want to invest in completion now, in the future, or you are over it. You can just make notes to have the next time you pick this up–it doesn’t have to be done right now. This isn’t so much that there is a correct way to proceed–but that decisions need to be made.

Planning Worksheets Project Assessment

Project Assessment (68 KB) This is a worksheet to give you a framework for assessing where you are and what you want to do on a project. If you are going not going to finish the project, the sheet can get disposed of at the time you take definitive action to change the project status. Abandoning a project is a positive action. Remember, whatever action you take, you get a reward which can be as simple as a short mental happy dance.

Project Assessment: Where Was I?

Have you ever had a feeling that if you just spent a few minutes sorting a project out that you could get the traction needed to move forward on a project you were once enthusiastic about?

Download Where Was I? (114 KB) to drill in to what you need to do to regain that enthusiasm and momentum. Can’t find it any enthusiasm or momentum? Maybe that was the real reason it got put aside. You can let it go if that feels best!
