I like keeping a record of my knitting projects, although I am not very good at keeping up. When some users started having troubles with Ravelry I began seeking a way to do this for those who want to see without using that platform. I can and do post to Instagram (often these go into Stories, so they are fleeting) & Facebook (and others), but all of those are subject to the whims of others. This is only subject to my whims and slack posting of my project(s). Check back often. Better yet, sign up for my newsletter because I usually mention updates there.

Fiona Kay Knits Design by Jill Wolcott Knits
I bought this yarn to support Fiona Kay Knits when she launched her yarn. I liked that the yarn had some colors that I like, but had her vibe to it. I have been working on this off and on for about a month, and as Mitch said, “Jill isn’t happy with her knitting” as he saw me ripping back. Mostly because of poor planning on my part, but the final design is in place and I just have to finish the reknit of the second piece. Also, I am looking for buttons that I know I own. I have other buttons that can be used. We’ll see when I finish the reknit. It is DK.
Next Up In Cormo!
This is one of my favorite yarns. I’m taking the stitch patterns from Somerset Shawl and making a garment. Cannot wait to get this project going. Two colors because I was using leftovers. Elemental Affects, 100% Cormo Sport, 3-ply, 4 oz/112g, 400 yds/365m. It is named, but I can’t say more for a while yet.
Maiori Moebius Cowl
This has been knitted for quite a while. I wanted to make an embellishment for it, but I couldn’t decide what. I went into the local sewing store, Stitches, on one of my first Post-Pandemic outings and snatched up some things, including part of the embellishment I am working on. Pretty pleased with how it is coming together. The yarn is awesome: IkigaiFiber, Chibi Paka Chunky Yarn, 75% SW merino, 25% baby alpaca, 50g/55yds. I knitted it into something else I didn’t like as much so I ripped it out and did this.
I bought this from Coastal Yarns in Cannon Beach, OR when we visited in April. The yarn is called Sneaker Wave, the color is Wine Country. I need to add this to the original pattern. I made some changes that aren’t much, but are significant. Oh, my. It was a lovely knit, but I inadvertently made more work for myself!
