Return from TNNA

I imagined myself blogging from TNNA.  Why is it that I always forget just how crazy and hectic it is there?  I completely forgot to blog or take pictures, but I had a great time! Things didn’t go exactly as I had envisioned–arriving late on Friday started a long process of trying to reschedule a meeting I needed to have while in Columbus.  I didn’t realize that working in booths for 8 hours would cut into my ability to take in the floor so much.  Actually, I usually sneak around the market in the early hours, and I didn’t get there early enough either day to do that.

I got to connect with friends and colleagues, and as always, made new connections, and that is always the goal.  TNNA Is always a bunch of choices–do you go to this meeting, go to that event, have dinner with friends, or make it about business.  One of the most delicious decisions I made was to have a meeting on Saturday afternoon, over Jeni’s Ice Cream.  I chose a trio of White House Cherry, Juniper & Lemon Curd, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle.  I hadn’t had lunch, and they were half scoops.

So now I’m off to run.
