I started knitting the second Roundhill about 10 days ago. I got through the rib cuff pretty quickly (it had seemed to take a really long time on the first one), but definitely wished I was able to use metal needles, not wood dpns because the tips were just a touch dull for the task. Once I got into the rib (which is knit flat, and you can see the seed stitch band that gets added on) it just started flying, despite the fact that I’m working on size 2 (1.75mm) ndl and am still on dpns because I don’t have a metal that size. I was flying so quickly that I got to the pin without doing a buttonhole. I spent some time considering just working back and trying to fix it, but decided to rip back. Definitely the better way to go. I put the pin in to remind myself to do the buttonholes.
I’ve not had as much knitting time as I would have liked, or have other knitting that needed my attention, but I have completed the fourth of five buttonholes, so it is likely I will finish this week.
