Sakai Knit-Along: 20 Sizes in Cardigan or Pullover

Sakai Knit-Along of the Cardigan or Pullover begins on January 24, 2020 and will run for 90 days.  The pattern can only be obtained by reserving a place.  Purchase Sakai Cardigan Knit-Along  or Sakai Pullover Knit-Along.

Subscription

Sakai Knit-Along: Subscribe to the PulloverThis is a subscription, for which the sale price is $5 per 30 days, or $15 overall.  For that price you will receive pattern instructions, access to a private Sakai Cardigan & Pullover Slack channel to ask questions, make comments, and interact.  I will post videos, and schedule chat times through the Slack Channel.  You will be invited to the Slack channel on reserving your place.

kai Knit-Along: Subscribe to the CardiganYou may choose to end the subscription at any time, but if you do not pay for all three segments, you will only get the materials provided to date of withdrawal.

Pre-Knit-Along Information

Between now and January 24, please make your swatch and get your yarn for the Sakai Pullover.  Also, take your bust measurement and decide how long your pullover will be.  You will have to make some sizing choices.  There are 20 sizes for thes Sakai Pullover and for the Sakai Cardigan!!!!!!!

This is a relaxed fit, so sufficient ease will be added to the pattern based on your bust measurement.  If you plan a long pullover and your hip measurement at the finished length is wider than your bust, please use the larger number.

The Pullover is worked almost entirely in the round to avoid having to work lace on purl rows.  There is a small portion  the upper body that will require working flat.

The Cardigan is worked flat.  That means that this stitch pattern requires patterning on every row, using some p2tog-b. It is definitely more work.

The swatch instructions are available as a download.  Both flat and ITR, with Action charts and sizing info!

Inclusive:  20 sizes!!!

Pullover Yarn

I created a Sakai Pullover Fingering Yarn Search on Ravelry.  I did not select a fiber preference because I wanted to make it usable to anyone.  You could use my criteria and also narrow your fiber preferences.Sakai Pullover: Ravelry Yarn Search
