Description

Meath Pullover

Imagine finding the perfect pullover that combines simplicity, cables, pockets, and interesting details.  And shouldn’t the pullover be easy to knit, without being boring?  Meath Pullover is an opportunity to try stockinette in the round, cable pockets, and long sinuous sleeves with cables, shaping and thumb holes.  Simple cables on the sleeves make for a nice change of pace after breezing through the stockinette of the body.  After you finish it off with rolled trim, you’ll be ready to enjoy wearing this perfect piece.

After you work through the Meath Pullover and divide for the armholes, all shaping is presented for both right and left shaping. Included in the pattern are cable charts, schematics, and a description of techniques. Also included are instructions for working a traditional long sleeve should you choose not to work the longer sleeve with the thumb opening. Of course there are written instructions to take you step-by-step through the Meath Pullover.

Meath Mitts Added!

This gets even better. I added the Meath Mitts into this pattern. The Mitts can be worked as a gauge swatch for the pullover and are a wonderful way to master some of the techniques before undertaking a pullover. Like the Meath Pullover, there is right and left shaping, right and left cable charts, and schematics.
