Description

Rialto is no longer available as a single pattern. Please consider purchasing the Dreaming of Shetland e-book for this and many other wonderfully designed patterns which were donated to support Deborah Robson’s research into Shetland sheep and wool.

The deep undulating grooves of this lace knitting pattern will transform your favorite skein of lace yarn into a decadently squishy scarf or cowl. Choose between provisional cast-on methods and follow the directions for a scarf or a cowl in two sizes. Finish by grafting the edges in pattern or using the three needle bind-off, then create an i-cord ring to add styling options. Whether you see leaves or flowers in your lace, you’ll want to make Rialto in a bouquet of colors and sizes.
