Fashion week in NYC is over and they’ve moved on to London. I can’t find the time to follow it right now so I’ll have to study up when I’m on break. In case you like to plan ahead, here are the top 10 color used by designers for Spring and the percentage of designers who used each:
1. Monaco Blue, 13.2%
2. Dusk Blue, 12.6%
3. Emerald, 11.9%
4. Grayed Jade, 11.3%
5. Linen, 10.7%,
6. Poppy Red, 10.1%
7. African Violet, 9.4%
8. Tender Shoots, 7.5%
9. Lemon Zest, 6.9%
10. Nectarine, 6.4%
To see the colors, Pantone is the best source. If you have been paying attention, you will get the sense that many of these colors are transitional, not departures. This will allow you to freshen your wardrobe without necessarily replacing. See, designers have your back!
