The Afghan Join is worked to join two pieces in a decorative braid. Begin by dropping the edge stitch on the two pieces to be joined. It is used in North Country.
Lay the two pieces to be joined side by side, with the unravelled edge stitches facing each other.
Set Up: Working up from the bottom, put the crochet hook into the bottom loop on the left panel, then into the corresponding loop on the right panel. Hook the next loop on the left panel and pull it through the left and right loops on the hook. 1 hook on hook.
Join: *Hook the next loop on the opposite Panel and pull it through the loop on the hook. Repeat from * until the last loop is pulled through. You will end on the left panel.
Put the last loop on a stitch holder or WY.
