Bind off or BO is the most common method of ending your knitting. Binding off is bringing a worked stitch over another worked stitch and off the right needle:
Work 2 stitches. *Use your left needle to bring the first worked stitch on the right needle over the second stitch worked and off the right needle. Work next stitch and repeat from * to last stitch. Cut yarn and draw through last stitch.
This BO method produces a very stable edge, but is not very stretchy.
