In this technique, we’re covering how to divide stitches over 3 needles. This is helpful for working sock heels.
For working rib and leg of sock, you can divide stitches over 4 needles or, since the heel can be worked over one needle, set up stitches on three needles: Join without twisting.
*Work one quarter of stitches onto first needle; work one quarter of stitches onto second needle; work one quarter of stitches onto third needle, PM, work rem stitches onto third (heel) needle. Mark one quarter stitches on each needle or divide appropriately for stitch pattern.
