To join JSSBO when you are working in the round, before cutting the yarn, follow these instructions to make a nearly invisible transition from beginning to end of the round. (Here’s a video!)
Join JSSBO at end of bind off ITR
- Use the tip of the right needle to pick up the loop at the base of the first bind off;
- Pull yarn through to make a new stitch on the right needle; and
- Bind off the final stitch using the 2 sts now on the right needle.
- Cut yarn and pull through.
Although it can’t even up the ends completely, it does make a much nicer ending.
When you finish the join JSSBO, thread the yarn tail into a bent-tip or tapestry needle and make a fake BO stitch if needed to fill in on the surface. Watch the video!
