The looped pom-pom is a pom-pom made of loops, it’s created using a pom-pom disk with pins, and makes for a great embellishment.
How to make a looped pom-pom
Use a piece of yarn 3 or 4 yards long.
Arrange pins around a disk the size of the Pom-Pom disk.
Leaving an 8″ tail, begin wrapping yarn around pins. Work from pin 1 through 8, always going on the opposite side of the center pin on each pass and to a pin on the opposite side of the disk. Rep until all pins have 5 to 7 wraps.
Thread tapestry needle onto wrapping tail and work it from top to bottom and back up, going between each loop to anchor it. Tie it off with the 8″ tail. Remove Looped Pom-Pom from pins.
Other knitting embellishments include beaded corners, and i-cords.
