The yarn over bind off (YO BO) is similar to a standard bind off, but with a yarn over between stitches. This addition of a yarn over creates a bind off that is stretchier than a standard bind off.

Abbreviation: YO BO
K1, *YO, k1. Use left needle to lift YO and first k1 over last k1 on right needle and drop off both needles. Rep from * until only 1 stitch remains on right needle. Cut yarn and pull through last stitch.

While the yarn over bind off has a yarn over between every stitch, the modified version of this bind off has a yarn over between every two stitches.
