Skills Needed: This sock is worked from the toe up with a gusset, heel flap, and German short rows in the heel turn.

Size: S (M, L) 6.25 (7, 8)”/ 15.5 (17.5, 20) cm sock circumference

To fit 8 (9, 10)” / 20 (22.5, 25) cm in actual foot circumference

Yarn:  150-350 yds (137-320) m of fingering weight yarn.

Sample used Sugarplum Circus BFL Sock in the colorway “Seaglass.”

This yarn is 75/25 Superwash BFL/nylon and is 464 yds (424 m) per 100 g skein

Needles:  1 set of sock needles (your preferred style) in US 1.5 (2.5 mm) or size needed to achieve specified gauge

1 set of sock needles (your preferred style) which are 0.5 mm smaller than gauge needles

Gauge:  36 sts / 44 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in blocked stockinette stitch worked in the round on larger needles

Supplies:  Tapestry needle

2 stitch markers for heel flap marking

2 more stitch markers (only used to denote beginning of round or instep if using a small circular needle)
